Favorite food: Sushi

Favorite place: A little town called Amble on the northern coast of England or the top of Iroquois Park.

My bad habits: I tend to be aloof. To some people, that might translate as being "stuck up, " although I'm not. I just like to keep to myself sometimes and watch everyone else. I also like drinking beer. A lot.

What I am listening to nowadays: The Mars Volta, Louis IV, Buckethead, Old 97s, Gordon Lightfoot, Porno For Pyros, Tom T. Hall

Coolest thing I have done: Jeez, I am really blessed to have done a lot of cool things. I think that one of the coolest things that I've done was hiking down the northeastern coast of England with my Dad, staying at bed and breakfasts along the way and exploring castles that were hundreds of years old. Then topping it off with a week in London. Awesome!

Most embarrassing moment: I have many of these, but two of the most embarrassing moments happened when I was in Fire Dept.

The first was right after I got in the band. I was doing my guitar solo out on the dance floor with the spotlight on me, surrounded by about 350 people. The lead singer snuck up behind me and jerked my pants right down to the floor! Now these were the days of spandex, so no underwear. There I was, in the spotlight, people all around, ass in the breeze and my thang hangin' out. So much for that solo!

The second moment was when we were at The Toy Tiger. There was a tank of helium backstage for balloons. Well, the intro tape is rolling, the band is onstage waiting for me, and the place is packed. I decided that I was gonna take a big hit of helium and then run out to the stage and say something funny in the mic. I took a deep breath of helium, ran out on the stage just as the intro finished and then promptly passed out. I woke up and everyone in the band was just kinda standing there lookin' at me. What an idiot!
