Your humble editor has been slaving away over a boiling-hot keepboard for a good part of the last month, updating and/or developing new code for the LMN website, following the loss of the app and machine running the old database. Well, it held together for sixteen years, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

I'll be back online before too long, so keep checking and in the meantime, get out and hear some live music.

Brandt, Robert Bruce "Bob," died in Louisville on May 7, 2016. He played the saxophone in local bands, including the Mystics and Epics.

Craiger, Darryl, died in Louisville on May 25, 2016. He was a drummer.

Hicks, Michael Wayne "Mike", 57, passed away on May 8, 2016. He was a guitarist for the band "Fast Forward" and former guitarist for the band "Personnel Only."

Grawemeyer, Jeremy Vincent, 30, died in Louisville on May 22, 2016. He was musician who played with thte Local Villans for fourteen years.

Martin, Hardison "Hardy" George, Sr., 79, died on May 1., 2016. He was heavily involved in the music business, beginning with playing guitar for the following bands: Black Mountain Boys, Carnations & Trendells; he performed two years on the Dick Clark Tour; formed SAMBO (Sanders Allen Martin Booking Agency); formed Allen-Martin Recording Studio & Productions Company; was the co-founder of Triangle Talent, Jefferson Audio & Video Systems and Lewellyn Martin, Inc; founded numerous record labels including Tilt and Jam Records and was a member of the American Federation of Musicians. He was also a successful inventor, with a number of patents to his credit.

Rosenthal, Robert "Bob", 75, of Pinellas Park, FL, formerly of Louisville, died April 28, 2016. He was a well-known Louisville icon, entertainer, musician, folksinger, loved by generations of children and adults for the song "Bunny Foo Foo Loves You." He lived for the past several years in Pinellas Park, FL near his children and grandchildren. In addition to his immediate and extended family he will be lovingly remembered by his numerous followers in Louisville as well as the many nursing homes and assisted living facilities for whom he performed and where he lived during his last years.
