Down On The Corner

Your humble editor has been rather busy of late, trying to fix all of the code necessary to move the Louisville Music News back issues to a different server, which is a bit of a task. The code that currently exists was written in 2004 or so, which means I have to go back through the code and try to remember why I did “that thing” or so other thing. It was also some of the first serious coding I did, so I was learning as I went. Whee!

All of which is to say that my attention has not been focused on current music or the Louisville music scene, so I have little to report. I have been keeping the events database more or less current. Eddy’s Janaury column didn’t appear because he had a serious case of the flu that’s been going around, as did Christine Devereaux, who is the subject of the latest Louisville Rock Closeup. That article is up and Eddy promises his column no later than this weekend.
