“I'm open to arguments for and against the assertion that the music industry will be in the tank through the end of the year and, afterwards, only a very few touring bands will be able to survive beyond spring. Furthermore, small to medium-size clubs will also mostly fail or convert to some other business. What's left of the recording business will focus on digital music, meaning the well-educated (Swedish) composers will be writing most material for television and online content.
Mostly, live music will be made by amateurs, for fun.
