If you are young and willing to risk your health, it’s safe to get out and drop by a few clubs around town. Personally, I don’t like that kind of risk, given that the payout can turn out to be fatal. I can wait. So I'll keep chatting with folks on line and report the results to all you who are reading this. That includes those engaging in Derby fun and games. In the meantime… see you next time.

Rapier, Mary Mitchell, 95, died on April 9, 2021 in Minneapolis, MN. She had a long life of performing music, teaching theory and providing arrangements at the Southern Baptist Seminary, piano at the U of L, and music at Kentucky Home School for Girls. Her career included work with the Louisville Orchestra, Kentucky Opera and Louisville Ballet. She collaborated in recitals with numerous artists, including Leon Rapier, Paul Kling, Peter McHugh, Edith and Dallas Tidwell, Edward Caruthers and countless others from the Louisville Orchestra and U of L.
