Slayer/Megadeth NOT making up louevil date:
I just heard that the Slayer/Megadeth/Testament tour is not going to be coming through our town - at all! The February 2 date was canceled due to Slayer bassist/vocalist Tom Araya having back surgery. I figured we would have a make up showdate for sure once Tom healed, but we ended up getting screwed in the kiester.
Supposedly the venue is not available in the time frame when the tour could have made up the date. But I live right by Broadbent Arena and I don’t buy this story.
For one, Broadbent Arena is always available from what I can tell. I rarely hear of events going on there. Secondly, The tour canceled in other cities as well as Louisville.
The bummer of this is that we get screwed out of one of the biggest metal shows this town has seen in years. And to me and a bunch of other loyal Slayer/Megadeth fans, that fargin sucks!
