One bag of toys from the Rock For Kosair
batch was donated to the U.S. Marine Corp’s
‘Toys For Tots’ charity. Initiated by you know who…
The $549.90 that was raised from the raffle and T-shirts sales enabled us to donate a total of (11) $50 Kroger gift cards to Kosair Charities for families and children in need of food.
Phoenix Hill Tavern advised of an apparent reporting error with the funds they collected at the door. It was originally reported that $4,470 was collected at the door. PHT management later confirmed that a total of $3,993 was raised from the door donations, plus an additional $7.00 they donated, to purchase the $4,000 in Toys R’ Us gift cards that funded the shopping spree.

I’d also like to acknowledge that christian rockers’ Through The Storm, surprised us with a sizable bag of toys to include with our donation. So a big “thanks” to Through The Storm for contributing to the event’s donations and enabling a few more happy kids this Christmas. Way to go guys!
Again, thanks to everyone else in the Louisville Music community who willingly and happily did their share to make this charitable concert meaningful to all those who it is intended for.
